These people are talking seriously about the technology necessary to build a society on the moon.
We are not talking about an eccentric millionaire, or a rogue tenured professor. This is a profitable company that answers to level headed (read profit seeking) stockholders.
I have to admit that my sense of romance has become jaded enough to be stimulated on;y by stories of magic or living on other worlds, so this excites me.
I am not a scientist, but I imagine that the scientific advances we will experience if this is accomplished will over shadow any other time in our history.
